I did have a traditional battery bank in my bag that day so that I could top up the MagSafe one if it got empty. I’ve only had one occasion where I was going to be out for 12hrs with heavy phone use, where I happened to have a backpack with me. Then if I ever need it I’ll grab it fully charged before heading out. So the battery is always charged and ready to go, plop my phone on it when it’s time for bed, or my AirPods on it during the day. Check the review photos carefully if you’re leaning towards an anker etc.Īnother thing I didn’t see many people mentioning is that I now use it next to my bed plugged in like a MagSafe puck. The other brand ones all looked like they were much bigger to me. If you value something really pocketable that’s unobtrusive, then I’d recommend it. I found the convenience (and size) of the MagSafe pack is worth the trade off of not being as big capacity wise. Since you have the 14 pro, your battery is already pretty good. In the past if I were going to an event where I’d be using my phone a lot I’d always have a battery bank with a wire coming out of my pocket to my phone. I got it because I really hate having a battery bank + a cable if I’m out and about doing something. ![]() The ESR battery is nice for the extra juice and kickstand. The Apple battery is slim, protects your phone by optimizing charging, and is convenient to just slap on and use. Another plus is that you can charge other devices via a usb-c port. It is noticeably bulkier than the Apple MagSafe battery. I typically use this at home when I’m cooking or eating for the stand, or when I’m watching videos in bed for extended periods. The ESR battery pack is nice to have because of the capacity and kickstand. When I’m charging all my devices at the end of the day, I typically only charge the Apple MagSafe battery with my AirPods on it as the Apple MagSafe battery does it’s job at keeping my phone at 90% so there’s no need to charge my phone. Best Budget MagSafe Battery Pack: Belkin MagSafe Wireless Charger Power Bank. Best MagSafe Battery Pack Overall: Apple MagSafe Battery Pack. I only use the Apple battery for gaming as it keeps my phone from getting hot. It’s also super nice for gaming without having to be tied to an outlet. The Apple magsafe battery pack gets slapped on at full charge and extends my 14 pro max’s battery life by a good amount (few hours). I have both an Apple magsafe battery pack and an ESR 10,000 mah magsafe battery pack. ![]() /r/iOSSetups for iOS wallpapers, setups, and apps./r/AppleSwap if you want to trade devices!.Keep an eye on temporarily free or discounted apps on /r/AppHookup!.Your iPhone broke?
